Production Worker - The position of production worker reports directly to the Lead Supervisor and is responsible for assisting with the production, warehousing, and shipment preparation of LSC erosion control products.
Sort post-consumer paper products prior to material entering mill.
Bag out finished product, label, and prepare for shipment of finished goods.
Stack bags of different weights for packaging and warehousing prior to shipment.
Operate fork-lift & skid steer unit (will teach if no experience).
Work with production employees and supervisor to assemble equipment parts and products and obtain knowledge in trouble-shooting basic maintenance related issues.
General manufacturing cleaning and organization required throughout shift.
Other required tasks as determined by Lead Supervisor.
Requirements / Skills / Traits:
Mechanical ability and intellectual curiosity.
Willingness to work in a non-climate-controlled environment.
Ability to work nights/weekends.
Able to lift over 50 lbs.
Ability to follow process and procedure.
Attention to detail.
Ability to follow instruction and execute somewhat unsupervised.
Reliable transportation.
Previous manufacturing/plant experience a plus, but not required.
Prior Forklift/Skid Steer Training a plus, but not required.
